We urgently need 50 new crates of various sizes at a total cost of $2,911

Every month, Rescued Pets Movement transports hundreds of homeless dogs and cats out of Houston shelters and into loving homes up north. To do this safely, we rely on one of the most basic tools we have: crates.
Crates keep animals safe in foster homes, during transport day load-up, and on the vans headed to our rescue partners. But they don’t last forever. Dogs with separation anxiety can destroy them, repeated sanitizing makes them porous and unsafe, and constant wear and tear from weekly transports leads to rust and broken parts. Right now, too many of our crates are at the point where they can no longer be used.
We urgently need at least 50 new crates of various sizes at a total cost of $2,911.30.
We know we’ve asked for your help many times this month. But when you are saving as many lives as we are, the needs pile up quickly, and they are big. Every single crate you help us purchase will directly save a life by giving one more dog or cat a safe spot on transport.
How You Can Help:
- Donate today to help us purchase all 50 crates.
- Give any amount—every $58 covers approximately one crate.
- Make it monthly to help us plan ahead for future needs.
Your donation means the difference between a pet staying behind in the shelter or making it safely on board to a new life. Please give today so we can keep saving lives without interruption.
Thank you for stepping up for Houston’s homeless pets.
