Since 2013, RPM has been the safety net for these vulnerable animals. We rescue, rehabilitate, and transport them to areas of the country where adoptable pets are needed—places where they’ll find loving homes and a future. Over 94,000 pets saved, and counting.

It costs over $420 per animal to cover core expenses like veterinary care, medications, food, temporary shelter, and climate-controlled transport to their new beginnings—but that’s just part of the picture. Behind every life saved is an entire network of dedicated people, supplies, and services that make rescue possible.
Your support keeps our hardworking animal care team equipped to provide daily feeding, cleaning, enrichment, and attention to the hundreds of pets in our care each month. It also helps maintain our in-house medical clinic, where pets receive treatment for illnesses or injuries, vaccinations, and ensures they are healthy and ready to travel.
Our rescue coordination team works non-stop to secure placement for each individual pet with one of our 50+ trusted rescue partners across the country. Carefully matching each animal’s needs to the right partner requires constant communication, detailed planning, and logistical support.
Likewise, our dedicated foster team recruits, trains, and supports foster families who open their homes to pets in need. Fosters provide temporary love and care, but RPM’s team ensures they have everything they need to succeed—guidance, supplies, and 24/7 support.
In addition, we cover significant costs to keep our operation moving. That includes maintaining our fleet of climate-controlled vans, ensuring safe and reliable transportation, as well as providing vital supplies like crates, food, bedding, collars, cleaning products, and other essentials.
Unlike traditional rescues, RPM does not directly adopt out pets. All adoptions are handled by our trusted rescue partners in regions where the demand for adoptable pets exceeds the supply. This means RPM does not collect adoption fees, making your donations even more critical to covering the true cost of saving each life.
